We collect your email address when you subscribe to the free starter kit or purchase BriefDay. That is the only personal data we ask you for.
When you submit the starter kit form, we also record the IP address the request came from for up to one hour. We use it only to limit how many signups one connection can send, which stops people from signing up addresses that are not theirs.
We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, or any demographic information through our site.
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card number, CVV, or billing details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
Purchase records and subscriber email addresses are stored in Cloudflare KV (key-value storage). This data is used solely to fulfill your purchase and deliver the product. We do not build user profiles or behavioral models from this data.
The same storage holds the short-lived signup rate-limit record described in section 1 and the list of addresses that have unsubscribed, so we do not email them again.
We use Resend to send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, download link, starter kit delivery). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent. You will not be added to a mailing list by purchasing or subscribing.
Signing up for the starter kit sends you one email with the download link. A purchase sends you one email with your download link. We do not send a follow-up series after either one.
The starter kit email includes an unsubscribe link. If you use it, we keep your address on a do-not-email list so that a later signup with the same address sends nothing. A purchase confirmation is still sent if you buy BriefDay, because it carries your download link.
This site uses no cookies. No tracking pixels. No analytics scripts. No fingerprinting. No retargeting.
Cloudflare, our host, keeps standard request logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) for security and operational purposes, the same way any web host does. We do not layer any analytics product on top of that logging.
We do not track visitors across sites, so we do not change anything in response to a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
The site uses localStorage for a single key
(privacy-ok) to remember if you dismissed the privacy
notice. This is not a cookie and contains no personal data.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Ever.

Each of these processors handles data solely for the purpose of delivering our service to you.
We retain your email address and purchase record for as long as needed to fulfill our obligations (product delivery, refund eligibility, customer support). You can request deletion at any time.
The signup rate-limit record is deleted automatically after one hour. An unsubscribed address stays on the do-not-email list until you ask us to delete it.

BriefDay is operated from the United States and does not specifically target EU residents. We do not engage in EU-specific data processing activities. However, if you are in the EU and wish to request access to or deletion of your data, email [email protected] and we will comply.
BriefDay is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without notice.
