Accessibility Statement
Last updated March 2026.
AstraBrava LLC is committed to making BriefDay accessible to everyone. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards across our website.
What We've Implemented
- Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy, landmark elements, and structured content throughout the site
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms) are reachable and operable via keyboard
- Screen reader compatibility: Content is structured for assistive technology with meaningful link text and form labels
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements against our dark background
- Responsive design: The site adapts to different screen sizes, zoom levels, and orientations
- No auto-playing media: No videos, audio, or animations that cannot be paused or dismissed
- Readable text: Base font sizes are set for readability with consistent line height and spacing
Known Limitations
- Chrome extension: The included Chrome extension for inbox capture has not undergone formal accessibility testing. It requires manual installation and right-click interaction.
- Terminal product: BriefDay itself runs inside Claude Code (a terminal application). Accessibility of the terminal environment depends on your operating system and terminal emulator settings.
